NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Brown County Hospital, recently named a top 100 Critical Access Hospital, located in Ainsworth, NE, is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of providers. The successful candidate will work closely with all physicians/practitioners in providing quality, comprehensive healthcare to the patients we serve. This position will be primarily based in the clinic setting and will participate in Emergency Room Call Coverage on a rotating basis. Applicant must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice in the State of Nebraska, as well as an unrestricted DEA registration. Salary range is dependent upon experience and productivity. A full-time benefit package is available.

Revenue Cycle Manager
Full-time employment opportunity at Brown County Hospital. Candidate must exhibit behaviors consistent with our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Compassion and Unity. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for directing the overall functions of the revenue cycle, including but not limited to medical billing and coding processes to ensure maximization of revenue integrity and process flow. Coordinates with clinical staff to improve patient, physician and other customer relations. Position requires strong managerial leadership and business skills, including the ability to produce and present detailed billing and cash activity reports. Effectively works with the CFO to coordinate revenue cycle operations including patient registration, eligibility verification, referral coordination, billing and collection activities, analyzes and identifies reports and trending to ensure effective revenue cycle policies and procedures are followed
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Management is preferred. Consideration will be given to other degrees with proven competencies. Candidate experience with healthcare accounts receivable management is preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Must possess time management, process improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong critical and strategic thinking skills. Candidate must have experience working effectively in a team environment, be well organized, highly motivated and disciplined. A comprehensive benefits package is available. Brown County Hospital is seeking a full-time sonographer with radiologic technologist for its growing Radiology Department. This is an opportunity to work with a strong, dedicated heath care team. Must be ARDMS and ARRT registered or registry eligible and be licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ultrasound experience required
- CT experience preferred. If no CT experience, must be willing to train and be able to demonstrate competency within 2 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Candidate must be able to work a varied schedule, take call and respond within 30 minutes. Call consists of 2 days per week and 1 weekend per month. A comprehensive benefits package is available.
