Brown County Hospital is seeking a full-time radiologic technologist for its growing Radiology Department. This is an opportunity to work with a strong, dedicated health care team. Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible and be licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer.
Qualifications and Skills
- CT experience preferred. If no CT experience, must be willing to train and be able to demonstrate competency within 2 months.
- Ultrasound experience preferred
- Mammography Certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

WANTED: IT DIRECTOR FOR BROWN COUNTY HOSPITAL
Brown County Hospital is seeking to hire an IT director that would be responsible for providing hardware and software support for the hospital’s information systems. Will also provide leadership and guidance in establishing security and business continuity policies for the company’s internal and external needs. Risk management experience dealing with electronic threats and vulnerabilities, security and business continuity.
Applicant must have at least 5 years prior IT experience and solid understanding of Windows server/workstation systems including Active Directory. Knowledge of DHCP, DNS and general network infrastructure and technologies, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange Server Online, VM Ware, Horizon and V-Sphere is a plus. NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Brown County Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital, located in Ainsworth, NE, is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of providers. The successful candidate will work closely with all physicians/practitioners in providing quality, comprehensive healthcare to the patients we serve. This position will be primarily based in the clinic setting and will participate in Emergency Room Call Coverage on a rotating basis. The Brown County Hospital has an immediate opening for a PRN scrub tech/central sterilizing position. Assists surgeon/provider with various types of surgical procedures.
